It has always been her goal to enhance not only her clients’ environment, but their entire mental attitude. You spend half your life in your home, so what is more important than growing, flourishing, and improving every aspect of your surroundings?

Since founding Knowlton Interiors over 25 years ago, Lesa has brought beauty, organization, and joy in her clients’ lives. She has been featured in numerous professional publications such as, Coastal Living, Good Housekeeping, Woman’s Day, Builder/Architects, Best Kitchen and Baths, and Design NJ, just to name a few. Lesa’s projects have also been showcased in the Schiffer Publishing’s Decorator Show House book. Her works have appeared on the Discovery Channel and HGTV.

The most exciting days of her life are very evident today. Lesa’s projects include homes from Maine to Florida on the East Coast, and from LA to the San Francisco Bay Area on the West Coast. The one thing her homes have in common, they are always inviting, comfortable, and so very beautiful. It is simply the designer’s goal to make your world and tastes the very best it can be, but never to make you live in someone else’s environment. Lesa sees the beauty in everyone’s own unique eclectic mind and style.

Having graduated from the University of Maryland with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Interior Design, Lesa is able to share her expertise with extreme knowledge of balance, scale, and an expert eye in color and how it affects a person’s psyche.
